My Story
I first got into computers when I was about 10 years old. By 12, I was building basic websites as a hobby, which quickly evolved into scripting, modding video games, and hosting game servers. What started as curiosity became a passion that would define my career.
In high school, I started my first business building websites for local businesses. By 17, I was programming professionally. I'm not artistic, but I am creative, and for me, programming was the perfect blend between logical structure and creative freedom to build things. It gave me a canvas where I could solve problems and bring ideas to life.
From there, I explored every form of development I could find: desktop applications, video games, network applications, websites, and enterprise systems. Each domain taught me something new and expanded my understanding of how technology can solve real problems.
Building Companies & Solutions
Today, I'm an equity partner in three technology companies, two of which I helped start. Beyond my own ventures, I've helped get many other businesses off the ground by providing technology leadership and development expertise.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with industry leaders like Porsche, Audi, and Les Schwab, delivering solutions that have transformed how they operate. My work has ranged from building vehicle visualization platforms used by hundreds of retail locations to developing training applications for thousands of users.
Beyond enterprise work, I've also explored creative software development, including mobile games that have achieved millions of downloads. This diverse experience allows me to approach problems with both technical rigor and creative thinking.
Innovation & Recognition
I'm a named inventor on U.S. Patent 9,286,591 for shipping and delivery management systems, reflecting my commitment to innovation and solving complex logistical challenges. The platform I built, DDS Track, was eventually acquired by Reynolds & Reynolds after I single-handedly managed, architected, coded, deployed, and maintained it for nearly seven years.
My Approach
With over 20 years of experience, I bring a unique perspective to every project. I believe in understanding the business first: learning how an organization operates, what challenges they face, and what success looks like for them. Only then can technology truly serve its purpose.
When you work with me, you work with me. Not a revolving door of junior consultants or offshore teams. Unlike larger firms where you might meet senior partners during the sales process only to be handed off to less experienced staff, I personally handle every aspect of our engagement. You get direct access to two decades of expertise, not a watered-down version filtered through layers of delegation.
Whether I'm consulting on IT strategy, building custom software, or leading technical teams, my goal is always the same: deliver solutions that create real, measurable value.
